The Position
We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer, passionate about building industry standard user experiences for B2B products. In this role, you’ll work on Absinthe’s admin interface - the core portal that empowers incentive designers to architect loyalty programs and incentive mechanisms with ease and expertise. You’ll help create an intuitive platform that unlocks Web3’s potential for our clients, giving them the tools to effortlessly shape loyalty programs to achieve their goals. This is a significant-ownership role in a fast-paced high-stakes environment where you’ll be challenged with non-trivial UX problems. Its ideal for engineers who want to see direct impact on customer satisfaction. Prior Web3 knowledge is preferred but not required.
What You’ll Do
- Build intuitive and expressive interfaces for CMOs and Data Scientists to prototype loyalty programs with Radix UI, Tailwind CSS and Next.js
- Develop a figma-like experience to connect and configure various data sources and transformations using reactflow.js or other similar libraries
- Develop a WYSIWYG builder to render custom white-label loyalty program portals for businesses to use out-of-the-box
- Create engaging dashboards with charts to express analytics, forecasts and predictions about the project’s incentive mechanisms
- Work closely with the founders and designer to iterate on direct customer feedback
What You Bring
- 5+ years of frontend engineering experience, preferably in building B2C or SaaS products with significant UX challenges.
- React + Next.js: Expertise in modern frontend frameworks, including React hooks and Next.js (App Router).
- Tailwind CSS and shadcn: Skilled at creating responsive, accessible, and visually stunning designs.
- Integration Expertise: Experience with Auth.js, Hasura, and caching solutions like DynamoDB.
- State Management and Testing: Advanced skills in React state management, react-hook-form, Framer Motion, and CI/CD workflows using Jest or Cypress.
- Performance Tuning: Knowledge of optimizing Next.js SSR, handling CORS, CSP, and authentication.
- Familiarity with AWS Amplify, CloudFront, and static asset hosting.
- Startup Agility: You thrive in high-growth environments, balancing rapid iteration with long-term scalability.
- Efficient Communication: You excel at collaborating with distributed teams, translating technical challenges into actionable insights.
